DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS - NOVEMBER 30, 2022
Thank you for your interest in the 2023 March of the Living. Below you will find the information, instructions and links to begin the application process. An interview is part of the application process and will be scheduled after your application, application fee and medical form is received. We will begin conditionally accepting participants after their interview. It is to your advantage to submit your forms as quickly as possible. Once accepted, you and your parents will have to return several forms and a deposit to obtain an official place on the 2023 Broward County March of the Living.
Note you are required to participate in our study sessions which will be held on Sundays, from 1:30 -5:00 PM and are usually held at the Katz Federation Building on the campus of the Posnack JCC. Please check the calendar carefully to be sure you are available to attend all the meetings.
2 legal passport photos will need to be submitted by dropping them at the March office in the Federation Building on the campus of the Posnack JCC) or mail them to March of the Living at 5890 S Pine Island Road, David, Fl 33328.
The cost for the 2023 March of the Living is $6595*, subject to up to a 5% increase based on final agreement and arrangements with the International March of the Living. (*includes three international flights, all meals, lodging, motor coach transportation, land costs & admissions, tips, security arrangements, backpack, luggage tags, passport neck wallet, t-shirt, MOL jacket, pins, educators and program materials) You will be required to purchase travel insurance which will need to include trip cancellation, interruption, delay, be primary insurance, treat COVID as any other sickness or illness as well as cover medical. Minimum requirements and additional information will be sent with acceptance. DO NOT purchase insurance at this time.
We are all aware of the rising costs of all goods and materials, gas, food, etc. The Jewish Federation of Broward County endeavors to make the March of the Living affordable to all eligible students.
