ADULT MARCH OF THE LIVING
APRIL 16 - 30, 2023
*Though several months remain between now and our April 24, 2022 departure, considerations of health and safety
and the ability to provide the best educational program was uppermost in our minds as we decided to
limit this year’s Broward County March of the Living program to Poland only.
Join our group leader, Rabbi Arnie Samlan, Chief Jewish Education Officer at the Jewish Federation of Broward County; our Holocaust educator, Linda Medvin, Director of the Gutterman Family Center for Holocaust and Human Rights Education at Florida Atlantic University and Holocaust survivor, Irene Zisblatt, for an impactful life-changing experience as we visit the sites of Jewish interest in Warsaw, Krakow and Lublin.
We will visit the sites of death camps and ghettos and explore Jewish life before the Holocaust and participate with others on the March of the Living from Auschwitz to Birkenau on Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), followed by a moving ceremony in commemoration of the day

and our departure. We ask your indulgence as we navigate this ever changing landscape. We will be transparent
in everything we do. There are many things we do not yet know, which we hope will become concrete sooner
than later, but be assured you will always be kept informed.
